Cookie Policy

1. What they are
Cookies are small files a site saves in the browser of whoever visits it. This site uses very few, and almost all of them only make it work.
No advertising cookies are used and there is no traffic measurement tool: no statistics are collected about who reads these pages.
2. Technical cookies
These are set without consent, because the site would not work without them.
- Session cookie — holds together the pages visited during a visit and keeps signed-in users signed in. Lasts for the session.
- Security token — prevents another site from submitting forms on your behalf. Lasts for the session.
- Light or dark theme — remembers the appearance you chose. Lasts one year.
- Language — remembers the language you chose. Lasts one year.
- Cookie choice — remembers your answer to this notice, so it is not repeated on every page.
The network protecting the site (Cloudflare) may set a technical cookie of its own to tell people from automated programs and fend off attacks.
3. Third-party cookies
The home page carries two videos hosted by Facebook. Their player is not loaded automatically: in its place you see the opening frame, and until you ask to watch the video no request goes to that platform and no third-party cookie is set.
Clicking «Watch the video» counts as consent to load the player, which from that moment may set its own cookies and process data under its own rules, over which the operator of this site has no control. The choice is remembered on your device, so later videos open without repeating it; to withdraw it, clear the site data from your browser settings.
4. Device notifications
The site can be installed as an app and send notifications. This is not a cookie and never happens automatically: it requires explicit permission, which can be withdrawn from browser or phone settings.
5. How to manage them
Every browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them and block new ones. Disabling technical cookies may prevent access to the forum and make the site forget your language and theme.
6. Changes
This document may be updated when the tools used by the site change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
